DAY 1: UK - Munich - Zell am See.
Fly to Munich where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Zell am See, for a six night stay. (D)
DAY 2: Zell am See.
The lively cosmopolitan resort of Zell am See is one of Austria's prettiest towns and boasts an array of medieval buildings, cobbled streets and lakeside promenades. The day is yours to relax and enjoy all the pleasures of this delightful alpine resort, which may include discovering the town's historic centre, scenic walks, cable cars, swimming or a boat trip on the lake. DAY 3: Zell am See - Grossglockner excursion.
Prepare to be amazed as we take you to visit the mighty Grossglockner mountain, Austria's highest peak, site of several magnificent glaciers, including the five-mile-long Pasterze Glacier. (B, D)
DAY 4: Zell am See - Achensee visit.
Enjoy spectacular mountain views as our coach takes you to Jenbach where you will board the cog and pinion train to beautiful Achensee. This glacial lake, one of the Tyrol's most popular holiday areas for centuries, is overlooked by the soaring peaks of the Karwendel Mountains. (B, D)
DAY 5: Zell am See - Included excursion on the Zillertal Train.
Our second equally scenic train journey is from Fügen through the beautiful Ziller Valley to the pretty little town of Mayrhofen, steeped in rustic charm and surrounded by mountains. There's time to explore the town, have some lunch enjoying the scenery or browse the many shops. (B, D)
DAY 6: Zell am See - Included excursion to Salzburg.
Enjoy the included excursion to Salzburg - one of the world's most beautiful cities with a wealth of fine Renaissance and Baroque architecture. It has quaint cobbled streets and ornate churches sheltered by the Monchsburg mountain. The Old Town on the south bank of the Salzach river, is a Baroque extravaganza of churches, squares and fountains. Watching over the city is the 11th-century Hohensalzburg Castle, which stands on a rock outcrop over 100 metres above the skyline. (B, D)
DAY 7: Zell am See - Munich.
Enjoy your last views of the delightful Austrian countryside as we drive to Munich - the city known as Germany's 'secret capital' - for an overnight stay. Tonight, enjoy our optional Bavarian Evening. (B)

Transfer to Munich airport for your flight to the UK. (B)
