DAY 1: UK - Amsterdam.
Fly to Amsterdam where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the Amsterdam area for one night. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to explore the sights of this beautiful city at leisure. From the hotel there is a shuttle bus every 20-30 minutes to the airport. From here, you can take a train that runs every 8 minutes into the city centre.
DAY 2: Amsterdam - Cologne.
Your journey takes you through the rural Dutch countryside and across the border into Germany, arriving in the afternoon in the city and port of Cologne, on the left bank of the mighty Rhine River. Embark your cruise ship, Prinses Christina. (B, D)
DAY 3: Cologne - Andernach.
You'll set sail in the early morning, cruising southwards to Andernach, a walled town known for its impressive 13th-century 'Liebfrauen' Church and the famous 'Rhine Boulevard'. In the afternoon there's an opportunity to join an optional excursion to the Ahrtal wine-making region. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: Andernach - Cochem. Included wine tasting.
Cruising along the Moselle River westwards, you'll arrive in the picturesque town of Cochem, spectacularly set at the heart of the wine-growing area known as the Moselle Valley and overlooked by an 11th-century castle. Today, enjoy an included wine tasting excursion.
Note: On 19 Jun departure, the locks on the Moselle will be closed and the visit to Cochem will be conducted by coach. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: Cochem - Boppard.
Enjoy breakfast on board your cruise ship as you sail back to the Rhine for an afternoon arrival in Boppard, enjoying some of the region's legendary sights along the way. The afternoon is yours to explore this ancient and charming town, set in the beautiful Lorelei Valley, with the Hunsruck Mountains as a spectacular backdrop. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: Boppard - Rüdesheim.
This morning you'll cruise to Rüdesheim, past some of the Rhine Valley's most famous landmarks, including the 130 metre high Lorelei rock, and the Mäuseturm, an ancient customs post, now a beacon tower for shipping. The afternoon is yours to explore Rüdesheim, overlooked by the great ivy-crowned towers of ruined Ehrenfels Castle. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: Rüdesheim - Koblenz.
Cruise northwards through glorious scenery to the historic city of Koblenz, arriving in the early afternoon. Located on the convergence of three rivers and three mountain ranges, the city dates back to Roman times and is a centre of the German wine trade. Your tour director will provide you with more information on the afternoon's optional tours. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: Koblenz - Cologne.
Sailing further north, you'll pass Remagen, famous as the site of a World War II battle for the town's bridge, en route to Königswinter, an elegant resort at the foot of the Sieben Gebirge mountains. After lunch, you'll cruise past the ancient city of Bonn, birthplace of Beethoven, to Cologne for an overnight stay. You'll have time to explore this lively, historic city, famed for its magnificent Gothic cathedral. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: Cologne - Amsterdam.
This morning check out after breakfast and spend some time in Cologne before joining the return coach journey to the Amsterdam area for one night. (B)
DAY 10: Amsterdam - UK.
For flights departing in the afternoon, an optional sightseeing tour of Amsterdam will be available. Transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK. (B)

Accommodating 107 guests in 54 well-appointed, outside cabins, this recently refurbished, fully air-conditioned vessel provides both a large sun deck and a relaxing lounge with picture windows to give you uninterrupted, panoramic views of the beautiful passing landscapes.
Public Rooms & Facilities
Large partially covered sundeck; reception; restaurant; cosy lounge with partially separated bar area and large windows with panoramic views of the river. Stair lift between the main and promenade decks and the main deck and restaurant.
Dining
Your cruise includes full board. The main restaurant is non-smoking, with picture windows on both sides and can accommodate everyone at one sitting. It is cosy and decorated with warm colours. A 'no cash' system operates for drinks bought in the bar or restaurant. Accounts are settled on the last morning of the cruise and payments can be made by credit card or cash.
Cabins
All cabins have two lower beds; air-conditioning/heating; television; shower and wc. Cabins are spread over three decks, with category C cabins having tea/coffee-making facilities and two windows instead of one. Your holiday price includes a category E main deck outside cabin, or you may choose to upgrade.
