DAY 1: London - Channel crossing - Brussels.
Join your tour by travelling on our free coach service from London for your Channel crossing to the Continent. Here you will be met by your tour director and touring coach to continue to Brussels for overnight. An optional sightseeing trip this evening will include the varied sights of Brussels.
DAY 2: Brussels - Rhine cruise - Würzburg.
This morning set off for the Rhineland. Enjoy an included cruise by way of the 'Lorelei Rock' passing its medieval castles, half-timbered villages and terraced vineyards. Continue to Würzburg for overnight. (B, D)
DAY 3: Würzburg - Nuremberg - Prague.
Start the day with a short visit to Nuremberg, an ancient city still possessing much of its original medieval walls. Continue by way of the world's beer capital, Pilsen, to Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. (B, D)
DAY 4: Prague (included sightseeing) - Vienna.
Enjoy the included city sightseeing tour of Prague with a local guide, featuring landmarks such as the National Theatre and the old town hall with the Astronomical Clock. This afternoon travel from Bohemia into Moravia. Continue into Austria for two nights in its splendid capital, Vienna. (B)
DAY 5: Vienna. Included sightseeing.
Feel the charm and elegance of cosmopolitan Vienna. Start the morning with an included sightseeing tour of the city with a local guide, on which you'll see the State Opera, Hofburg, Parliament, the Town Hall and finally take a short walk for a visit to the inside of St Stephen's Cathedral. In the afternoon take the optional trip to visit the Palace of Schönbrunn. (B)
DAY 6: Vienna - Lake Wörth - Venice area.
Breathtaking scenery as you travel across Austria to Velden on beautiful Lake Wörth for a short visit. Continue southward into Italy to the Venice area for two nights. (B, D)
DAY 7: Venice.
Set like a jewel in its own lagoon, Venice has a dreamlike quality. Enjoy the included sightseeing canal boat ride followed by orientation of this fascinating city and a chance to watch Venetian glass blowers fashion their delicate objects just as they did centuries ago. (B)
DAY 8: Venice area - Assisi - Rome.
An early start travelling south into the Apennines dotted with villages perched on steep mountain sides, stopping for a visit to historic Assisi and its magnificent Basilica before reaching Rome by evening for a two night stay. This evening join the optional Rome by night excursion. (B)
DAY 9: Rome. Included sightseeing.
The 'Eternal City' - a city steeped in history, vibrantly alive and exciting and absolutely unique! Included sightseeing with a local guide starts in St Peter's Square, followed by a visit to the Roman Forum and the mighty Colosseum. (B)
DAY 10: Rome - Florence area (included sightseeing).
This morning enjoy the optional visit to the Vatican Museum or spend some time at leisure before heading northward through the Tuscan countryside to arrive in Florence in the late afternoon. Don't miss out on the included guided walking tour taking in all the major highlights of the Renaissance capital. Stay overnight in the Florence area. (B, D)
DAY 11: Florence area - Lugano - Lake Lucerne area.
Into Switzerland today and romantic Lake Lugano, bordered by misty mountains and old Italianate towns. After a stop here drive via the scenic alpine route to the shores of lovely Lake Lucerne. Only a few more miles to reach your hotel for two nights. (B, D)
DAY 12: Lucerne.
Enjoy Lucerne today. Visit the covered wooden bridge and the huge Lion Monument, the city's trademark. Marvel at the spectacular view of the Alps with the optional cable car trip to the 10,000 foot high summit of Mt Titlis. (B, D)
DAY 13: Lake Lucerne area - Paris.
A lovely journey through the woodland lakes and pastures of the Aargau. Then, into France and on to Paris for two nights, arriving in time to enjoy the optional cabaret show. (B)
DAY 14: Paris. Included sightseeing.
Sightseeing with local guide starts with many of the best-known Parisian sights: La Sorbonne, Boulevard St Germain and the Eiffel Tower. (B)
DAY 15: Paris - Channel crossing - London.
Say a fond farewell to Paris and your new found friends before driving north to the Channel port where your tour ends. After the short Channel crossing join the coach service to London. (B)
