DAY 1: London - Channel crossing - Brussels.
Join your tour by travelling on our free coach service from London for your Channel crossing to the Continent. Here you will be met by your tour director and touring coach to continue to Brussels for overnight.

DAY 2: Brussels - Luxembourg - Basel - Lucerne.
Delightful scenery as you drive through the Duchy of Luxembourg to its charming capital. South into the wine growing region of Alsace and on to Switzerland. From Basel cross the foothills of the Alps to the medieval town of Lucerne for overnight. (B, D)

DAY 3: Lucerne - Innsbruck area.
This morning take advantage of the Lucerne visit and maybe join the optional excursion to Mount Titlis. Later head for the tiny principality of Liechtenstein. To the east lie the picture postcard villages of Austria's Voralberg, and once you're through the Arlberg Tunnel, the scenic splendour of the Inn Valley. Overnight in the Innsbruck area with time to see the Golden Roof. (B, D)

DAY 4: Innsbruck area - Venice (included sightseeing).
Early morning start by way of the Europa Bridge to the glistening canal-city of Venice. In the afternoon explore this ancient and elegant city on the included sightseeing tour with local guide. Enjoy a canal boat ride followed by a visit to St Mark's Basilica and a chance to watch Venetian glass blowers fashion their delicate objects just as they did centuries ago. Overnight in the Venice area. (B, D)

DAY 5: Venice area - Adriatic Coast - Assisi - Rome.
An interesting drive skirting the Adriatic coast and crossing the Apennine range to historic Assisi, home of St Francis for a short stop at the Basilica. Continue to one of the world's greatest cities, Rome for two nights. (B)

DAY 6: Rome. Included sightseeing.
The 'Eternal City', Rome is a city steeped in history, vibrantly alive and exciting, and absolutely unique! Included sightseeing with local guide starts in St Peter's Square, followed by a visit to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. (B)

DAY 7: Rome - Florence area (included sightseeing).
Pleasant morning drive by the 'motorway of the sun' to the Renaissance city of Florence. Traffic is partly banned in the historic centre so visitors can wander at leisure and admire this city's timeless beauty. Enjoy the included city sightseeing walk with local guide and the visit to one of Florence's bargain leather shops. Overnight in the Florence area. (B)

DAY 8: Florence area - Pisa - French Riviera.
First to Pisa where you can admire the legendary Leaning Tower and the Square of Miracles. Then a scenic drive past Genoa and the Italian Riviera into France for a stop in Eze to visit one of its perfume workshops. Overnight in the French Riviera. (B)

DAY 9: French Riviera - Lyon.
A relaxing morning by the Mediterranean. In the afternoon cross sun-drenched Provence into the vineyards of the Rhône Valley for overnight in Lyon. (B, D)

DAY 10: Lyon - Beaune - Paris.
Watch the lush vineyards and rich fields of Burgundy unfold till you reach the old medieval town of Beaune. In the afternoon continue to Paris for two nights, arriving in plenty of time to enjoy an optional cabaret show this evening. (B)

DAY 11: Paris. Included sightseeing.
A day to get a feel for this magnificent city. Sightseeing with a local guide in Paris includes many of the best-known Parisian sights; Boulevard St Germain, Eiffel Tower, Opéra, Champs Elysées and the Rue de Rivoli, to name just a few. (B)

DAY 12: Paris - Channel crossing - London.
A last look at Paris before driving north to the Channel port where your tour ends. After the short Channel crossing join the appropriate coach service to London. (B)
