DAY 1: London - Channel crossing - Amsterdam area.
Join your tour by travelling on our free coach service from London for your Channel crossing to the Continent. Here you will be met by your tour director and touring coach to continue across Belgium to the Amsterdam area for overnight.

DAY 2: Amsterdam area (included sightseeing) - Rhineland.
A morning to enjoy colourful Amsterdam. Sightseeing includes a drive with a local guide pointing out the city highlights, a visit to a diamond factory and finally a canal cruise. In the afternoon travel to the Rhineland area for overnight. (B, D)

DAY 3: Rhineland - Innsbruck.
A choice today of the included scenic drive along the shores of the Rhine or an optional Rhine cruise with vistas of the Lorelei Rock, hilltop castles and terraced vineyards. In the afternoon continue to Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrol for overnight. (B, D)

DAY 4: Innsbruck - Venice area (included sightseeing).
Early morning departure to the unique floating city of Venice. This afternoon's included sightseeing with local guide includes a boat trip followed by visits to St Mark's Basilica and a typical Venetian glass blowing factory. Don't miss the optional gondola experience, gliding along the picturesque canals with a local Troubadour to serenade you. Overnight in the Venice area. (B, D)

DAY 5: Venice area - Assisi - Rome.
An interesting drive across the Po Delta. After crossing the Apennines, stop in Assisi, the birthplace of the mystical St Francis - marvel at the magnificent Basilica. On to Rome for two nights. (B)

DAY 6: Rome. Included sightseeing.
The 'Eternal City' - a city steeped in history, vibrantly alive and absolutely unique! Included sightseeing with a local guide starts in St Peter's Square, followed by a visit to the Roman Forum and the mighty Colosseum. (B)

DAY 7: Rome - Florence area.
Drive to Florence for an afternoon to enjoy this beautiful city. Each narrow street has its rare church, its sombre Renaissance palace, its powerful sculpture. Enjoy the included city sightseeing walk with a local guide with time to visit one of Florence's leather shops. Overnight in the Florence area. (B, D)

DAY 8: Florence area - Pisa - Lugano - Lake Lucerne.
Morning departure for Pisa where we stop to admire the legendary Leaning Tower and the Square of Miracles. On again, travelling across the Lombardy Plain to Switzerland's picturesque resort of Lugano. After lunch enjoy the alpine scenery as we head for the shores of lovely Lake Lucerne for overnight. DAY 9: Lake Lucerne - Interlaken - Lausanne.
Enjoy one of Switzerland's finest cities, nestling amid snow-capped Alps and dominated by its clear blue lake. See the city's trademarks on the included visit, the covered wooden bridge and Lion Monument. On the way to Interlaken take advantage of the optional excursion to the summit of the Stanserhorn. Finally, today, by way of enchanting Lake Thun and Gruyère head to Lausanne for overnight. (B, D)

DAY 10: Lausanne - Beaune - Paris.
Your journey, today, is etched with vistas of famous vineyards on the way to visit Beaune, a medieval Burgundian town, known the world over for its wine production. Later on to Paris for three nights. Tonight maybe an optional cabaret show? (B)

DAY 11-12: Paris. Included sightseeing.
Two days in which to explore the city known throughout the world for its fashions, art and museums, delicious food and 'joie de vivre'. Included sightseeing with a local guide takes in many of the best-known Parisian sights: La Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysées. You may wish to book the optional cruise on the Seine or a French farewell dinner perhaps? (B)

DAY 13: Paris - Channel crossing - London.
Leave Paris and travel north to the Channel port where your tour ends. After the short Channel crossing join the coach service to London. (B)
