Q: What does the Tour Director do?
A: At Cosmos Tourama, we let our drivers concentrate on driving. Our Tour Directors are professional, experienced and knowledgeable and will ensure you get all the assistance, advice and information you need to make the most of your holiday.

Q: Might I get bored?
A: Certainly not! Most holidays include a range of fascinating sightseeing and exciting excursions at no extra charge. Our itineraries are well planned to ensure we include as much of the 'must-see and do' activities as possible. In major cities you will gain a real insight into their culture and heritage with our expert local guides. And we offer a great choice of optional excursions too!

Q: Will I have to carry my luggage around?
A: We offer a worry-free luggage service. The holiday price includes porterage for one case per person. See individual tours for details.

Q: Are meals included?
A: Europe - whilst touring, meals are usually included on a half board basis. In cities such as Paris, Rome and Vienna often only breakfast is included, providing you the opportunity to sample the local cuisine.
North America - generally meals are not included in the tour price, as our customers tend to prefer the independence to sample local cuisine. However, on certain overnight stops, overnight rail journeys, cruises and Globus First class Tours meals are included. Each itinerary will clearly show what meals are included in the price of the tour.

Q: Do I need to budget for tipping?
A: Tipping is totally discretionary, but you should be aware that it is customary to tip the tour director in the region of £1.50-£3.00 per tour day per tour member and £1.50-£3.00 per tour day per tour member for your driver.

Q: What about single travellers?
A: We offer at 'Guaranteed Share' scheme (available on many tours) which allows single travellers the option to be charged the basic cost (no supplement), and on starting the tour they will be introduced to another single traveller of the same sex also wanting to share a room. If there is nobody available to share, a single room will be provided at no extra cost.

Coach touring is a great way to meet new people so is particularly good for single travellers.

'Guaranteed Share' scheme is not available on cruises, rail options and Globus First Class Tours.

Q: Can I join a tour if I am already in the country?
A: Yes, we offer a reduction for 'Coach tour only' if you are already in the area where the tour begins and would like to join without using our flight arrangements.

Q: What about Children?
A: Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted on our tours. This is because we have found that children do not generally enjoy this style of touring holiday. However we do offer 10% discount to children 9 years and over.

Q: Will I be able to smoke?
A: We operate a no smoking policy on board all our coaches. However, tours are planned to include comfort stops. Many stops are at places of interest and beauty and offer the option to take refreshments or simply to stroll around and enjoy the surrounding area.

Q: Will the commentary be multi-lingual?
A: No, our commentary is in English only.
